The Iranti team is proud to welcome our newest member, Mmaletsatsi Moeketsi, who has taken on the vital role of Finance Manager.
She has years of finance experience, having worked at the Norwegian Church Aid, a key ecumenical grant maker working towards eradicating poverty and inequality. Mmaletsatsi has worked as an accountant and bookkeeper for more than 18 years and has had a passion for the subject from a young age.
“I enjoyed working with figures since I was in Standard 8 (Grade 10). I have never stopped since then. I went and did my BCom degree and majored in Accounting and Business Management,” says Mmaletsatsi.
When she’s not balancing the books, Mmaletsatsi is a professional hiker and Deputy Secretary of the Lefika Parish Lutheran Church in Soweto; making time for family, friends, faith and fitness, and having a genuine compassion for issues of social justice.
“Iranti is touching people’s lives in so many ways and fighting for the rights of people,” she says. “I also want to make a change. Iranti’s financial wellness and its long-term sustainability is central to its human rights programming.”
“We are all created in the image of God. Therefore, we should love one another, as God is love and peace.”
